Popular Firearm Classes
Pistol 1 & 2
Our most common course is our Pistol 1 & Rifle 1 Courses. Pistol 1 is a half day course and is typically followed by Pistol 2 in the same day.
Carbine 1
Rifle 1 is a one day course. All of these courses will begin with fundamentals of defensive shooting and move on to more advanced topics such as moving & shooting, barricade navigation, and stress shooting.
Shotgun 1
Shotgun 1 is a full day course teaching the fundamentals of basic shotgun. We will finish the course learning how to conduct hostage rescue shots as well as moving and shooting, penetration shooting, and stress shooting.
Law Enforcement CE Classes
Many of our classes meet the requirements for Alabama APOST CE credits. Contact us for a day rate or individual rate to work at your schedule and range.

FAQs
How Much Ammunition Should I Bring?
Each class is different and the course description will provide specifics. Half day pistol courses require 200 rounds. Full day pistol requires 400 rounds. Rifle Classes are 350 rounds rifle 100 rounds pistol. Shotgun classes are 250 rounds bird shot, 50 rounds 00 buckshot, and 10 slugs.
What Is The Refund Policy
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds once a class is booked. Each course is limited in the number of seats available and when a course is booked that seat is taken from someone else being able to attend. We will authorize one reschedule to another course if the cancelation is done more than 7 days prior to scheduled class date.
Can I Rent Guns & Gear?
Yes we have plenty of spare guns and gear available for rent. Check the rental firearm on the registration page and then contact us if you have a specific request for a firearms and we will try and accommodate. Most of our loaner pistols are Glock’s & H&K’s, and rifles are an AR15 platform.
Where are your classes at?
We travel and you can always schedule us at your range. The majority of our local classes are hosted at Double Tap Training Grounds in Calera Alabama.
