Do you want to host a TSS class at your range? It’s a lot easier than you might think. We have a few different requirements depending on where you live. See below for details.

All of our classes can be taught in a mobile setting at your facility. We will generally ask for two full days of instruction at a minimum. Our hosts always get the class for free!
We are located in Central Alabama. Travel to the Southeastern United States is easier than other areas but we will go world wide.
If you are located in the South we ask for a minimum of 6 students and no more than 16. We require a range and a classroom with either a projector or T.V. (Though we can bring a projector if needed).
If you are located outside of the Southern US we will generally ask for a minimum of 10 students in order to host.
International travel may require more students or a flat rate fee to cover the travel expenses.
Your range will likely require our insurance and business information so please provide us with the range point of contact to send our documents to.
What Is Required?
- Range with appropriate backstops
- Classroom
- Target stands (If available)
- $15-$25 range fee per day for the host range
- Covered area for inclement weather
- 25 yard range for most classes
- Medical response kit (Trauma kit, AED, Etc.)
- Host range waivers
- Hydration
We are easy to work with. If you are missing anything from the required list or struggle to get something accomplished, communicate it with us and we will work through the problem.
Popular Hosting Classes
Though we can teach any classes we have several fundamental classes that are popular hosting options.
Pistol 1
4 hour class conducted on the first day. This covers fundamentals that will be used for all of our courses.
Pistol 2
4 hour class conducted after lunch on the first day. Will cover fundamentals of moving and shooting along with barricade maneuvering.
Rifle 1
8 hour class covering shooting and moving fundamentals of close quarter rifle.
Home Defense Shotgun
Our premier shotgun course bringing shotgun fundamentals to real world situations and room clearing fundamentals.
Don’t forget about our women’s only curriculum.
Many of our classes are offered in a women’s only platform and we have some built entirely around woman. Fundamentals are taught in a slightly different manner because of the biological differences between both sexes.
FAQs
How much ammunition does each student need?
Every class is different and you should look to the course description. However, 4 hour pistol classes will use 350 rounds. 8 hour rifle classes will need 500 rifle and 100 pistol rounds. Shotgun classes will require 300 rounds of bird shot and 50 rounds of quality self defense rounds (00 Buckshot or similar).
How much will it cost each student?
Each class is slightly different. A new link will be created for your hosting date with a combined total of all classes and a discount when available for students to purchase the entire package. However, if students only want to take some of the course they will be allowed to register for that course at our standard prices.
Do students have to take all of the classes offered during the hosting time?
Absolutely not. Some students will only want to take the pistol side or the rifle side. As long as we get the classes filled students can mix and match. Though they will receive a discount for signing up for all of the classes while we are there.
Our range doesn’t have a classroom, what can I do?
This is usually something we can work around. Often times it will mean that we have to rent a conference room at a local hotel or similar venue. This does obviously add to the price but we can try to find a workaround.
